There''s a playroom at the store? Wow! Is it supervised? I''ve never seen that before but that would be great. Check ''em in when you get there and check ''em out when it''s time to leave.Date: 1/22/2010 11:04:07 PM

My DH does not go grocery shopping with me, totally my choice...and I either leave the kids at home with him or they go in the playroom at the store.
I do this too. It was an annoyance for the first couple of months we lived together - FI would be wonderfully sweet and go to the store to stock up on whatever veggies we were running low on, and I was eating them as fast as I could to get rid of them so we could get other things I liked more.. I finally exploded with "stop buying carrots! I hate carrots!", and the poor dear had the most confused expressionDate: 1/22/2010 11:49:28 PM

Fi doesn't even give me the chance to go grocery shopping!!! So annoying. Since he's in the restaurant industry, he's always going to the store to pick up last minute things or ingredients to play with...and of course he can't resist bringing food home too. Obnoxious because I feel like I can't buy anything I want to eat till we finish what he's brought home (I'm kinda OCD about not letting food go bad...)
on a more positive note, we always have a well stocked fridge/pantry!!!
A local chain grocery nearby me had a play area however I never had my kids watched in there. . .Mostly, they sat in the cart along with the groceries and it was a labor of love heaving the cart of kids and food around.Date: 1/22/2010 11:06:12 PM
