Sometimes I can drag my husband along but he doesn''t really enjoy it.

By myself! Okay, usually with at least one of my kids, but almost never with my dh. He drives me crazy atthe grocery store. I have it down pat to get in and get out quickly and he messes with my system.

Together. I loathe grocery shopping.

i prefer to go alone, but i call him when i get home to bring in the bags

My DH does not go grocery shopping with me, totally my choice...and I either leave the kids at home with him or they go in the playroom at the store.

Alone unless I need his hands to carry heavy things. He picks up way too much crap when we go shopping together - we spend a fortune on cheese puffs. Yuck.

usually just me, but I often do it on freshdirect or at the bodega on my way home. If we go to fairway he usually comes with me.

There''s a playroom at the store? Wow! Is it supervised? I''ve never seen that before but that would be great. Check ''em in when you get there and check ''em out when it''s time to leave.

Most of the time, with him. He cooks just as much, if not more, than I do. Sometimes I''ll run to the grocery store on my lunch break and do it by myself. Honestly, he''s more of a browser and I''m more of a list-maker, so shopping with him can get a bit tedious at times.

We almost always go together on Sunday afternoons around 3:00 or 4:00. Very occasionally I agree to go by myself on Monday (since I''m unemployed) but I always regret not going together.

FI usually does it - he passes the right places on his way home every day. I put the stuff away.

We generally go together. If I go on my own, I spend WAY more money than if he''s with me. I''m the type of person the End-Cap was designed for; a total impulse shopper. He''s pretty good about reigning me in when I start to look at things we really don''t need.

Fi doesn''t even give me the chance to go grocery shopping!!! So annoying. Since he''s in the restaurant industry, he''s always going to the store to pick up last minute things or ingredients to play with...and of course he can''t resist bringing food home too. Obnoxious because I feel like I can''t buy anything I want to eat till we finish what he''s brought home (I''m kinda OCD about not letting food go bad...)

on a more positive note, we always have a well stocked fridge/pantry!!!

I do this too. It was an annoyance for the first couple of months we lived together - FI would be wonderfully sweet and go to the store to stock up on whatever veggies we were running low on, and I was eating them as fast as I could to get rid of them so we could get other things I liked more.. I finally exploded with "stop buying carrots! I hate carrots!", and the poor dear had the most confused expression

We''ve been making every effort to go together but sometimes either of us may go alone. I find that when I''m by myself I often pick up too many items, so he''s good at keeping me on budget. But at the same time I feel like he can slow me down when he''s there.

A local chain grocery nearby me had a play area however I never had my kids watched in there. . .Mostly, they sat in the cart along with the groceries and it was a labor of love heaving the cart of kids and food around.

Now that both boys are in school, usually I go shopping during that time. Sometimes they come along. Dh never does because then another $30 is added onto our bill.

I''m so not a fan of grocery shopping as I''m a terrible cook and trying to pick out basic foods is a huge stresser b/c I don''t know how to make any of the stuff in the cart into an official "dinner." Today I thought I scored by buying a frozen pizza but the kids informed me the one I bought is one that tastes gross! They loved it the last few times!!! So, instead for dinner they ate ground turkey and apples and seemed content with that.

Either, but I try not to send him alone. I don''t really relish the "where do they keep the (insert item on list)?" calls every five minutes and the inevitable half acquired list when he comes home, since he still can''t find some items on the list even when he DOES call me to help him find it.

I love to grocery shop and usually prefer going on my own. Whenever my boyfriend comes with me items magically appear in my grocery cart that I magically end up paying for. I mean, who really wants fake crab legs?!?!?

DH does it at the weekends - he takes our baby so I can get some study time.

We usually go together. I enjoy our weekly Sunday after dinner trips to the grocery store together. Then, throughout the week we usually hit up costco together.
Sometimes I just need to get something and it''s easier to get it before I go home or when BF isn''t home at all. If I do go by myself, I am more likely to buy things I don''t need. So it''s best if BF is with me.
He doesn''t go much by himself since he bikes, but if we need something quickly, then he''ll go. I do have to be super specific about what to get, so it''s a little bit easier just getting things myself.

Always together. We act as each other''s better judgments. He wants to buy junk and I don''t let him, I want to buy all kinds of expensive ingredients and he reminds me of our budget.

If it were up to me, I''d go by myself. DH likes to go with me. When he does, he drives me nuts. I coupon, so I always have a list of very specific items that I want. He gets frustrated because he wants to go off and grab stuff, but half the time it''s the wrong thing and I have to re-do it. I ask him to just stick with me and then he sulks. It''s like having a CHILD with me sometimes.

I''ve found it''s a LOT easier most times to just do it by myself. When we first moved in together we used to go together, and almost always got in a bit of a fight. Now that I''m a SAHM it''s often me and the baby, who does make it more of a pain. But I prefer to go in the middle of the day on a weekday because I''m not a fan of crowded stores.

I usually always have my daughter with me, but never my husband. Since I''m a stay at home mom, it''s my "job" to do the grocery shopping while he''s at work. But if I ever forgot anything he will stop and get it for me on his way home from work so I don''t have to make a repeat trip which is nice.

I like for us to go together, but mostly because SO never gives input on what he wants to eat! So, if we go together, then he can pick it out himself. However, I feel I get the shopping done much more quickly when I''m by myself. I tend to start on the left side of the grocery and work my way through every aisle until I get to the right side. SO tends to just think of things he wants and goes to get them. Which means that most of his time spent in the grocery is going back and forth from the left side to the right side over and over again.

I go usually by myself. Sometimes I take my daughter if my DH is working. DH hates shopping of any kind.

For us it''s an either or. Either he goes shopping or I do. Or if we''re really lucky, our daughter will go.

I write a list and I get SO to do the grocery shopping. I don''t like grocery shopping unless it''s in and out. I''m glad HE likes to grocery shop!

We go together. I love it, it''s one of my favorite things to do together

We both like to cook a lot so we almost always come home with a new spice or a new recipe. Besides if I went alone we''d have so many air fresheners we wouldn''t know what to do with them all, im sooo addicted to them lol
