This seems like just another reason for the Palin-haters to be all angry. Alright then.

Me (and most likely all of the other "Palin-haters") dislike Palin for many, many other reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with this. (Hint: for me, the reasons are all related to her political and policy "opinions".)

That said, you must admit this whole thing is verrrrrry intriguing. I love a juicy mystery.

Cruel? To people? Who, when, where? If we're going to demonize someone, let's back it up with facts. And let's not pull out that old chestnut of "targeting" people with bullseyes. That was not a call to arms, and reasonable people know it.

I could not bring myself to kill an animal for any reason other than self-defense, but I know that real hunters shoot to kill, cleanly, and with as little damage to the animal as possible. They don't want the animal to die slowly or feel great pain. I may not agree that ordinary people with access to a grocery store should hunt, but I know that a good hunter is never cruel. And aside from what Ashley Judd might think, and who really cares anyway, there are legitimate reasons to thin herds of wild and predatory animals, such as wolves.

Palin will not be the next president or a future president. We can all relax. Even those of us who don't hate the woman, don't want her as president. Or veep. Or in the cabinet. So everyone's pitching arm can relax. No need to throw stones.

She passed a bill charging women for their rape kits. That alone is enough to make me think she has no place in higher office, or any position where she has final say over people's fates.

As for the baby thing? I have to say, I really don't care. Her sex/family life should be personal. I get the argument that she's chosen to make it public by parading the kids on-stage and making her "good example" of bearing and raising a child suffering from Down's Syndrome a part of her platform and persona ... but I think that's her abhorrent mistake, and I keep hoping that other people will back away from that example instead of following suit.

Then again, I thought it was ridiculous for America to waste millions of dollars investigating the source of the stains on a woman's blue dress, so what do I know?

At the end of the day, I just want the most competent and intelligent and compassionate people to be in charge. If they want to hold orgies in their spare time or engage in elaborate reenactments of "The Importance of Being Earnest" with their mysterious offspring, why on earth should I care?

Yup. Poor people who have to hunt and eat their food, should do so. I respect people who do it cleanly and don't talk about it. I don't respect people who go on TV like Rush Limbaugh and make a show out of how powerful people are and how they have the power to boil a lobster alive. Yeah. He's a really tough man. That shows he's ready to rumble. Ditto for Palin watching the turkeys being killed just to show that she's all for killing animals. No turkey would be pardoned on Thanksgiving if she were in the White House!

A timeline.

Bristol also testified in the David Kernell (the guy who hacked into Palin's email) that she was upset that pictures of her son were in Palin's email on September 2008 and ended up on the internet. Only Trig was born at this point.

It is, in my opinion, the height of good political expression to be able to write satire, which one could construe as "ridicule". I don't think my job is to argue about all of that, however. I think my job is to make Pricescope as good a place as it can be. I appreciate your efforts. I appreciate your attempts to be more lenient very much. I will try to stay within bounds.

In my opinion, by writing hilarious satirical posts you are making PS as good a place as it can be.

I get that the admins got tired of getting complaints about ATW. That said, is a lively, interesting community (with a high post count to show off to advertisers) worth dealing with the complaints? I would think yes, but hey-I'm not in charge.
