Wedding Yipii, my shoes! (I hope...)

So, I ordered my shoes! Splurged more than I was planning to, but I figured it''s not white, so I may wear them again

They match our wedding better than I thought! The color is called Dark Champagne, and they seem sort of pink on the stock photo online.

But they are actually more gold than pink, which is perfect for our Lord of the Rings theme

I was originally looking for a white pair, but after seeing all the ps bride''s shoes it I realize that it doesn''t have to be white.

The problem is that these are 5" heels. They might be too high for my dress. I heard that it''s better to have the wedding dress 1" above the ground, but I''m not sure how high the hem is going fall. My dress is at FI''s place (he doesn''t care, so he doesn''t peek

), so I have to wait until this weekend to try them on with the dress.

parrot tulips, they actually don''t feel higher than some of my boots because the front is quite thick. I''ve always bought my shoes from payless, and this is the first time I''ve purchased myself a *real* pair of shoes. WOWZA

So this is the difference between good shoes and cheap shoes...There is so much padding it''s crazy! I''ll have to wear them for hours to see if they really are comfortable, but as of yesterday they felt so soft! And this is at $53...I can''t imagine how well constructed $300 shoes are.
