.. my diamond!

I know you guys are probably sick of these kinds of threads but I''m really stumped between these 3. I''m looking for a H&A diamond that is somewhat affordable and looks pretty as well as somewhat big, without breaking the bank!

GIA 1.22 H VS2
Depth: 61.1
Table: 56
Crown Angle: 34.5
Pavilion Angle: 40.8
Girdle: Thin to Medium
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Very Good
Fluorescence: Negligible
Measurements: 6.91-6.91X4.22

GIA 1.22 H VS2
Depth: 62.3
Table: 58
Crown Angle: 35.5
Pavilion Angle: 40.8
Girdle: Thin to Slightly Thick
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Fluorescence: Faint
Measurements: 6.77-6.85x4.24

GIA 1.25 H VS2
Depth: 61.4
Table: 58
Crown Angle: 35.5
Pavilion Angle: 40.8
Girdle: Medium
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 6.91-6.93x4.25

Can you guys help suggest which may be a better one out of those 3? What''s bad and what''s good? I don''t have any idealscopes or brilliancescopes of any of these and I''m going by the GIA cert. All 3 are priced within $460 of each other. If you can suggest anything else that will be a better bargain and in my budget of around $7000, please feel free to suggest.

Thanks!

Propel,

Between those 3, using the HCA makes the choice very easy, despite a mild preference for the better symmetry of #3. See and read for yourself, compare, and see #1 easily bests the other two.

Otherwise, for an $800 premium over $7K, I think I''d consider investing in the double imprimatur that an AGS0 for light performance will give you, and an ACA brand. WF offers 3 in this size, one of which is this one, and I''d seriously consider that. Use the search by cut db to explore further, and best wishes!

Number 1, hands down. Can''t find a thing wrong with it! Can you get an IS image for it?

The only thing that bugs me about #1 is it looks like there is a feather right on the girdle. It is also from WF but it is not in house. It looks like they have to bring it in for analysis if I want a an IS or any other report:

Although I'd love an ACA branded diamond, that premium is is way out of my league

Not sure what pic you''re seeing, but when I pulled the link up, it''s a sample image.

I understand wanting an ACA, but this stone could end up being beautiful...

I was looking at the GIA cert for it... Looks like there''s something right at the 9:00. I really don''t know how this affects the diamond. It could be nothing after all.

Yeah, it''s hard to tell from a cert. At VS2, I would tend to think it wouldn''t be an issue, but no one can say for sure til they look at it in person. I personally think this stone has a lot of potential...Worth checking into!

I agree, thanks. It doesn''t hurt to try so I''ll shoot them and email to see what''s up with it. I''m open to other suggestions if anyone finds another candidate.
