Yellow shoes under 50 bucks?

Bride has decided to change it from yellow dress / blue shoes, to blue dress / yellow shoes. Need 2 pair that are the same color, but a little bit different style. She wants a closed toe with an ankle strap, and I really don't care about mine. Any help is greatly appreciated!! We are going to David's to look at their dyables, but they're mostly over budget

Hmm, that's an unfortunate combo. Closed-toe shoes with ankle straps are a bit dated IMO and hard to find these days. Yellow special-occasion shoes are hard to find and even harder to re-wear. You sure she won't budge on the style and/or go for more of a neutral color? My girls wore silver since you can wear metallics with pretty much anything. How about gold instead of yellow? Open-toe with an ankle strap?

Payless has dyeables in your price range, but it seems that you can get either a closed-toe style OR an ankle strap but not both:

If she relaxes a bit on the style and allows open-toed shoes, you'd have 2 similar styles right there ("Jackie" and "Michelle"). I'd get the more ornate one for the bride. (ETA: The ones on Payless actually aren't dyeable, but if you follow the link on top, you can see the dyeable ones.)
