Hi everyone, I have looked at hundreds of ASET images online to learn how to judge them (red, green, blue, black/white) but I recently received these images with some yellow in them:
FCF3B246-C645-4D8B-A325-15ACD7DF1806.jpeg

What does the yellow mean?? I'm assuming it's not good, but I've never seen this before.

Thanks in advance!

That looks like some pretty decent ASET images. I don't think any of those are bad stones. Of the ones you sent, the ones on the right are the ones that I'd further explore

I do not like ASET with no back light.
I think some one is trying to us a H&A's scope approach.
Thne because the images are so pale they are photoshopping to raise brightness and contrast. Wierd!

post processing or camera settings wacked.
not acceptable
@kenny or Garry lol

Huh, Karl?

i never know how long my internet is going to be up so i pinged you to post about photography\editing issues.. Garry posted while i was getting back connected to make my post.

So it sounds like none of you have seen yellow in an ASET before either. Do you mind taking a look at these ASET videos to see if you'd have any concerns with either stone?

Also do you think there's too much obstruction at the base of the arrows in the second one?

This is an old thread and I’m not sure if this is an explanation but thought you might like to take a read... post #64.

Thanks WDW! I did find that thread before posting mine, but unfortunately that doesn't explain it for these diamonds since they are D and E colored.

Ah I had a feeling that was the case but thought I would link anyway.

Good luck in finding an answer! Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

I think the issue is the way they set up everything (no backlighting, on a solid black surface, etc). That said, the first stone (first video you posted, which corresponds to the stone on the right in the still pics) seems better to me.

Yeah, I asked them to share ASET images/videos of each stone with brightness all the way up and backlighting if their machine allows. Will post those once I get them!
