I think the lowest color diamond I''ve seen on here was an M...

Does anyone have any lower color pictures?? Like a W X Y Z? LOL I am just way curious!!!

Another question is.... OK, so D color is supposed to be rare ;) but I''ve never seen a Z color diamond.. who sells them?

After Z comes LFY??

If anyone has any insight on anything related to non-fancy but yellow diamonds, lemme know! I did a search and didn''t find anything.

THANK YOU!

LOL...good luck getting information. I haven''t been able to find out much. I did see one w-x RB set in a beautiful platinum halo setting in a local B and M. It was a very very light transparent lemony yellow. Quite beautiful to me. Tomorrow am I am going to see some diamonds and one is a 3ct. S color RB and another is a 3ct. light fancy yellow cushion......alond with a few 2ct near colorless. I can''t decide on an engagement ring!

Hi Swedishbean.. Wink at HPD had an... R or S up yesterday. I think someone on here said that the reason you don''t see ''yellow'' diamonds is that if the rough looks like it''s going to be yellow, it will be cut to enhance the color, then sent in for certification as a light fancy (to up the price) instead of as a white diamond with a tint (which lowers the price). I don''t know how accurate my paraphrase is though. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Ah-ha!

I can totally see what you are saying... how sneaky! LOL I just have my eye on a lower colored diamond that is not a fancy and wanted to find out more.
