I have no one to gush to irl about my new sapphire babies, so I hope y'all will indulge me!
I have a new natural asscher cut peach sapphire, a loose oval lab Padparadscha, and a pear lab Padparadscha (technically it's my mum's).
VIDEO OF THE ASSCHER AND OVAL
VIDEO OF THE OVAL AND PEAR
The oval and pear lab Padpadschas are "mother-daughter" sapphires; the pear is my mum's, and the oval is mine!
Not sure yet how I want mine set... Any suggestions?
But I'm ecstatic about those lab Padas because we got them very cheap! The entire week I was worried that they were just overpriced glass lol but I dropped by my jeweller (whose husband is a gemmology student) and asked him to check it out and he confirmed that they were sapphires! Phew!
The color is also so difficult to get on camera. They are definitely a cherry pink, reddish, orangey pair, but in photos they come out almost super pink, pink-purplish or pink-red, etc.! What mysterious little things!
):

The peach asscher is such a sweet little thing, and I am completely in love!!
The colour doesn't really come through in photos/videos but in real life it's a perfect peachy shade.
I want it kite-set in an 18k RG solitaire like below (taken from Frank Darling):
However my sapphire is not perfectly symmetrical...
Would NSEW prongs still be good, or should I go for the more traditional prong orientation like below:

What do y'all think?
I'm so thankful for PS!
