I just found out that we got into our neighborhood CSA (we''ve been on the waiting list for over 2 years)

bring on the random, crazy, abundance of summer!

It''s the next best thing to having a garden in NYC. DH doesn''t know what he''s in for....veggies all the time!!!!

I am thrilled

I''m excited too! We joined a CSA for the first time this year, but we don''t start getting our shares until June. Yesterday I stopped off at a local farm (they have spring CSAs, but we didn''t join) to see what they had. I got a few bags of spinach and salad mix and omg, I forgot salads could be that good! I was eating the lettuce right out of the bag.

I went intended to find bunny veggies, but these were too expensive and too delicious for the buns

They can have the yucky grocery store lettuce for now. I''d love to have a garden once we own a home though.

What is a CSA?

E-yeah save the good stuff for yourself YUM! the bunnies will be fine with the stuff from the store:-)

I''ve been pressuring SO into agreeing to join one of our local CSAs. My family was part of several back when I was at home and I''m desperate to get into it here. He keeps saying it''s a good idea, and that''s as far as it goes.

Maybe if I nag he''ll move his keister just to shut me up? It''s okay to nag if it''s for a good cause, right?!
