Yay for first day of dress shopping!!!!

Yay!! Today my Mom and I went to a dress shop for my first time ever dress shopping!

I had looked at dresses online and knew what style I wanted but wasn''t sure if the "french" style would look as good on me as the models. The ladies at the Bridal shop we went to were SOO incredibly nice and found the dress style that I like but in a size 8...

I''m normally a size 2, so I would imagine I need a 4 for my wedding gown. I tried it on and fell in LOVE!

Then when she pinned the back to give me more of an idea of what my size would look like on me I was NON-STOP smiling. Then I tried on the veil and I was on cloud nine!!! My mom loves it as well. So, I have a pretty strong feeling that this dress is "the one." I still have tons of time to look around just b/c, but this dress has really won me over.

Please keep in mind it''s pinned in the back and will fit much better once I get the dress in my size/alterations...I''m a shorty! I love the dress and think it will knock the sox of my fiance!

back..it''s pinned to fit me better, therefore hiding the beautiful beading around the top.

My camera deciede to run out of it''s battery after the 2nd pic...so this is all I have...at least until the next trip!

I'm going dress shopping again later this week with my Mom again, but I really think this/this style is the one!

ETA: You're right Gypsy!!! As soon as I saw my reflection in the mirror I was all smiles!!!

Dress shopping is fun! I was nervous at first, but it worked out well.

This was my first dress shopping experience and I plan on continuing to look around. I really think this dress is *the one* but will look around a bit more just because I can...and this is a once in a lifetime (at least for me) experience!!!
