Hello,

I bought an x prong style engagement ring and now we need to find a wedding ring to match it.
Can anyone suggest someplace that will sell me a nice wedding ring that fits well up against the x prong?
We just want something simple. The ring is yellow gold with a 1.52 carot diamond. We think the wedding band needs to be a little thicker than the standard size. And we think it is best if the wedding band has the little dent that forms around the top of the engagement ring.

Do you have a Vatche dealer in your area, where you could try on the wedding band that goes with the x-prong? They make one that has a curve at the top to fit snuggly. Other than that, I'd suggest just going to jewelry stores in your area and trying different width bands on. That's the only way to really know what looks best. And they're not all that expensive.

Thanks Ellen,

That is probably what we will end up doing. I just thought it was strange to put a real x prong wedding ring with a x prong copy. And of course, I''m trying to save money.

Not strange if it works.

Cost might be prohibitive though. Just go have a look, I''m sure you''ll find something!

And you''re very welcome.
