WWY crest be?

In one of my favorite self-help-ish books, the author says that her family crest is a martini glass resting on a stack of books. Motto: Is that my drink?

MY husband jokes that my crest should be a dragon in glasses lolling on a pile of gold, wine glass in one hand, book in the other. I just this minute decided that THAT is what I will have made for my next milestone birthday, assuming I can find the right artist. Signets 4EVA!

Soooo ... How about you guys? What'd be in your crest? What's your motto?

I don't know if I've ever thought about what my personal crest would be, but your question made me think about family crests and how my DH is devastated that his family doesn't have one and I have teased him for years that we'll make our own. He said that was fine as long as we could include the Batman logo.....

As for my personal crest, hmmmm...dragons would be in contention, but so would Celtic knotwork, trees, owls, woodland vistas, and a few other things. Now if anyone can find a way to combine those elements into something not gigantic and not tacky I'm in, cause I got nothin'!
