This is much lower in color but still a beautiful stone and I think it’s a good price for the size. https://www.instagram.com/p/CNdERcMF969/?igshid=p0maiqs8tqa3
Did you see this? Maybe she will work with you on the price?

Are you OK with a brown undertone? I have a very pretty 1.79 M VS2 AVR (far right) which is in your budget but, well, taught me that OECs aren't entirely my jam -- I am a transitional cut gal. It is objectively beautiful but doesn't sing to me. Let me know if brown is a dealbreaker, otherwise I'm happy to post more photos etc!![]()
Hi! I am not sure, I have never seen a brown undertone stone before in real life......I would need to see more pics I think to get an idea. THank you!
It's definitely not white, but that's to be expected at an M. The other diamonds in the photo above are an EGL I with SBF (I think it's accurately an "I", but YMMV, haha, it looks entirely white to me), a GIA J, and the AGS M.
Here it is next to a loose 0.86 AGS K cushion and a 0.4x GIA F asscher-ish.
And from the side and bottom-up next to those same stones (K and F).
From the top, this is: GIA K (cushion), GIA J (emerald), AGS M AVR, Tiffany F, and EGL I with SBF.
Hope that helps. It's 1.793ct, a VS2 due to crystals I can't see, and 7.74x7.81x5.02mm. Girdle is inscribed with the report number and the AV logo.
Get the lighting right and it can look white, just like any OEC.

Has anyone here ever purchased or dealt with Jewelsbywhitney? Reputable? I messaged back and forth with her yesterday and she seems amazing, but would love some data and evidence to support that feeling!
I think that's a stone I bought and returned before it got GIA certified. I posted a bit about my experience here: Post in thread 'Search for an 8mm OEC' https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/search-for-an-8mm-oec.265014/post-4956543

Omg I forgot you bought and returned that one! Duh!!
Evergreen thank you sooooo much! You have such a lovely collection! I do agree the rose gold makes the diamond appear whiter. I do feel like the brown makes it too warm for my liking though, I'm sorry
I wish we were close so I could play with it IRL to be 100% certain tho, as there is still some doubt in my mind. Again, thank you for your help!
