ok, i''m just such a downer around here right now! i want to scream! i can''t wait until i have something positive to post!
we were due to have furniture delivered today. our sectional couch came just fine, but they delievered the wrong table/chairs. now, i understand that mistakes happen. however, it''s not my fault, and i feel they should be accommodating for the mistake THEY made. my husband was off work this week, so we decided to have it delivered today. now they are telling me that the first time they can get us the correct table/chairs is going to be next Friday. well, i work, and can''t just leave in the middle of the day to make sure its delivered alright. so i called and asked if they could deliver it on a weekend. they do saturday delivery, but it is a charge, and don''t have it available for 3 more weeks. SERIOUSLY??!?!?!?
now, we already got rid of our old table/chairs since we expected the new one to be in today. i have guests coming next weekend, and i''m more than just a little upset that they aren''t planning on getting our stuff to us. i called the store and they said now i need to call back and speak with a different manager, and their only response was, "well ma''am, mistakes happen. sorry." mistakes happen, sure. but that doesn''t give me a table and chairs. personally, i think they need to waive the saturday delivery fee and put it on their truck next weekend. i even asked about an evening delivery, to which he said "you''ll have to speak with someone else."
