For some reason, what stands out to me is that that's a cheap setting for a huge rock. lol. I'm worried for the stone!

I know! I don't know if I would go for that cheap of a setting when you have a 145,000 sitting in it!

Now THAT's a rock. I disagree though, it's a classic 6 prong solitaire in platinum. I wouldn't spend more than I had to just because the stone is extraordinarily expensive. It seems like a mind thing....
Although I'm imagining it in a much more expensive Mark Morrell setting... :love:

Agreed, even if it was sitting in a 3k Leon solitaire that would still only be a tiny fraction of the diamond price

i would do the same cheap setting.i never had any problems with my wife's cheap 14K WG $450 setting.. :bigsmile: on teh hand i read all these problems involving custom made $7k settings.

Ditto that! I thought it was weird to see how much the stone cost, and then they put it in one of the least expensive settings...

Wow is right! $145k for one diamond. You could buy several 2 ct. stones at that price.

(I just looked and an ideal cut 3 ct. H VS1 is about $85k, so you could take that and still have $60k left to buy other jewelry!)
