oh I love this SO much! What a beautiful piece of artwork...look at the panda's sweet face, and the attention to detail with the perfect bamboo stalks made out of green stones ( tsavorites? emeralds? not sure). Whoever did this is a genius.

Animal jewelry seems quite the craze these days, and pandas are so popular, not to mention they’re the symbol for one of the largest animal charities, “The World Wildlife Fund.”

I can see that being popular, despite the fact it might be an uncomfortable ring. That being said, some animal jewelry is amazingly beautiful, and some can look awful. I remember there was an octopus craze at one point in jewelry. Oh the horrors of what some of these pieces looked like. Sea creatures are the most difficult to get “right!”

If only it were set in titanium instead of heavy gold! Then it wouldn't be burdensome to wear at all. Something so heavy, I'd rather have it as a pendant.
