So what if someone posted a multi stone ring in the SMTB thread stating that the stones were a specific size but when you look
at the stones they do not look anywhere near that size? Granted the picture is not that great. I've compared it to
other PSers stones with the stated same size stones and the stones just dont look anywhere near the right size.

Do you bring it up? My concern is that if they are not the right size and they dont find out until later then it may be too late to
do anything about it.
Or...
dont bring it up because the thread is in the SMTB forum and not the Rockytalk forum?

I really dont want to rain on anyone's parade :(sad but, if there is something wrong I would want to know.

What to do, what to do?

FYI
I in no way think this person is trying to pull the wool over our eyes by stating they are bigger than they really are.

Personally I wouldn't say anything…I think finger size can be a factor.

I wouldn't say anything. You can't tell a diamond's size by a picture, just like you can't guess a woman's weight by a picture...there's too many factors to consider.

Never mind! Mystery solved! Thanks for your opinions...nothing need be said.

I thought only guys exaggerate about their SIZE... :wink2:

Apparently they are :liar: because I did not think this person was exaggerating and after having gotten more details I was right! 8)

Hmm. Now I am confused. What happened? Your mistake or hers?

Hi part_gypsy
Her finger was a lot larger than normal so the stones looked smaller than stated. I was assuming she wore a typical size 6ish
(or so). So, the bottom line was that she was not ripped off by her jeweler.
