Would you pay more for Memoire or save and have WF make similar?

I am looking at Memoire wedding band. My local jeweler, where we bought my E-ring, carries Memoire and can get the band for $1900. I also spoke to Whiteflash and they can make a very simiilar band for about $1200. Would you get the Memoire or save about $700 and have Whiteflash make a similar one?

For that band I probably have WF make it. For one of their eternities, I''d stick with memoire.

If WF has made one before and you have seen pictures of it, I might consider it. But if not, it would be hard to know how close they could make it to the Memoire since I know they won''t make an exact replica. Have you compared prices at different Memoire dealers? Did you get Pearlman''s to price it for you?

I''ve contacted a few delaers and the prices are all over the board...one was nearly double the $1900!!

Good call on pearlman''s, I will see what price they can offer.

Is your e-ring just like the band? If so, I would go with Memoire so that you have an exact match. Otherwise, why not go with WF?

Not sure how long ago you got the quotes, but platinum is half the price it was a few months ago. Eventually I hope we''ll see the effect in ring prices.

My e-ring is a trellis RB solitaire.

As far as the quotes, I just contacted the jewelers this week. I am going to send a message to Pearlmans too. Thanks
