Would you do this for an e-ring?

No.

Ow no - I've had dermal piercings before (base of the throat) and hand just freaks me out because of the potential for snagging

Absolutely not

No.

Maybe this seemed like a good idea on paper, but what about practicality?
What about wearing gloves, mittens or putting your hands in your pockets?
Would it snag in your hair? What if you scratch yourself or someone else.
Wouldn't the nub that is inside your skin rub on the bone? There's not much meat on a finger.

Hmm, what if in a year you decide your more of a colored stone person? Or what if you discover PS afterwards and find the HCA score is not favorable?! Maybe I'm just noncommittal :lol-2:

Not for me but more power to you if this is your thing.

Back when a dog nearly removed my hand (yup - not nice) I could have popped a few diamonds in and “voila”

It says “With the base being anchored into place under the surface of the skin, the tops are interchangeable with a huge variety of colors, shapes and designs.”

I don't have any piercings (not even ears) or tattoos but just found this interesting.
I wonder if those with tongue or nipple piercings would like them.

@cflutist, see that's what not reading thoroughly will do, thanks for clarifying. It's interesting for sure.

What to do if I want to wear a different ring the next day?

I mean change from solitaire to three stone or five stone.

Yeah, NO

Thats like an infection waiting to happen. That would be a no from this side of the peanut gallery.

I am not a fan. I remember reading somewhere that most of the time dermal piercings end up rejecting.

I do, however, have a soft spot for some ring finger tattoos. I love Dax Shepard's tattoo for Kristen Bell. Probably still a bad idea, but I think it's sweet.

Ouch, no. I have had some piercings but don't fancy dermals. :snooty:

eek especially since watching a video of one being done.

I can’t even look at pictures of the dermal piercings on fingers without feeling sick to my stomach and I love “gross” stuff. I cant put my finger on why exactly but they creep me out.

Nope.

Nope!..

I'm glad someone posted it; my first thought was, "Pricescope ought to see this!" I'm not a tat or piercing sort of person and knowing that you've got to clean it 3x/day put it on my, Nope, not for me list. And as some of you say, what if you want to wear that 3 stone or band.... must accommodate the bling we so enjoy!

I wear both rings and eye liner daily but I don't want either to be permanent. The thought makes me feel sick. I'm not against piercings or tattoos, but what if it goes wrong or what if it gets caught on something. My stomach is turning.

there are some body piercings i like but that looks so highly impractical...you'd bump it on things on the time and i'm guessing that would hurt....yikes.

No way!!!
