I think it looks great. I am terrible at being able to tell how noticeable inclusions are in real life based on photos, so I'd have to assess that in person. I doubt these would bother me though -- I think I'd be very pleased with this diamond. :))

too hard to tell from that photo , table is clean though

I checked White Flash, James allen, and BGD and couldn't find any hearts and arrows that size in that prize range. Looks like the best stone at the best price to me. I would suspect your stone is eye clean as well...great find!

I did find this H & A on ERD but it is smaller and an F SI2. I like the smaller tables on your stone and this 1.75...you would have to ask for a video and if it is eye clean.

Thank you all for your responses! :)

Ariel144...that stone looks great. I would like to stay close to 2 carats as much as possible though and SI1. Nevertheless, I have reached out to the jeweler for more info.

Thanks again! All you comments are very helpful.

A CA minute here. But absolutely.

Yes, I'd buy it. Great find!

Beautiful!

It looks great, little deep for me but it looks amazing enough that I'd over look that.

Thank you all. I hear you loud and clear :)

What do you guys think about these settings? Any favorites or recommendations?

My girlfriend likes the classic pave look and she likes settings that allow the center diamond to show as much as possible (from all angles). She also does not like thick bands. I am shooting for a 2mm band, but would consider a thinner band if it would work with a 1.9 carat stone. Would a 1.8mm band look ok or is that too thin? It should also be platinum and I would like only 4 classic prongs that allow the diamond to show from all sides (so no bulky prongs but big enough to safely hold the diamond). My girlfriend also does not like elaborate settings...simple and classic.

I read somewhere that some settings make the diamond look like it is very high i.e. very separated from the actual band/finger and some folks think that looks bad. Is that true and (in your opinion) are any of these settings like that? I also read that it is important for many that the matching wedding band sits flush next to the engagement ring. Does that mean that the prongs have to be set outside of the actual band so that they don't push the wedding band away i.e. making the diamond look high (per my earlier comment)? Would any of these settings allow for their matching bands to sit flush? I know that these are a lot of specifications/questions :( but I would appreciate your thoughts. My budget for the setting is $2000 or less.

Thank again for all of your help with this! :)

Looks good to me and the paper looks good also. You won't see those inclusions in person

You won't be able to get the Blue Nile one since you're not buying the stone at Blue NIle. But GOG sells Gabriel settings.

If that was the color and clarity I was going for, budget, and size... Yes. In a San Diego minute.

Actually, if that was the size and budget I had to work with then yes. Put another way.

Yes, in an Illinois minute!

She can't stop talking about it and shows it to everyone she meets. It really is perfect. EXACTLY what I was hoping it would be. Words really can't describe how much gratitude I have for you all. PLEASE never stop doing what you do. You have earned a fan for life.

Here's a picture of the actual ring on my fiancee. THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!! :)
