Would you buy a 1000$+ LOGR ring?

Hello Ladies and Gents,

I read a lot about LOGR rings on this forum, but haven''t dared to buy yet. I am usually of the viewpoint that you get what you pay for, although quite a few threads prove otherwise (and not!).

Have any of you had experience with the slightly more expensive pieces he sells? I like the look of a few 1000$+ bands and I am tempted...The clarity and the colour appear to be good, if they are as he listed them, but I am worried about the cut. I know I can''t expect it to be a perfect ring at this price, but perhaps someone can tell me whether it should still be a decent ring with the clarity and colour being good? Please help!

Also, did anyone have to return a ring and how difficult/easy/expensive was this to do?

Thanks!

Anyone?

you will get more response in the colored forum section, many of us there have bought from them their semi mounts, however I''m not quite sure of spending $1000 on one of their settings? is this a semi mount? the other ladies can give you more insight on their upgraded diamonds VS quality so try to ask them there too.

Thanks D&T!

No, it''s not a semi-mount but an eternity band. Apparently, the clarity is VVS and colour D, if the listing is accurate. It looks very nice in the photo but it''s hard to part with cash not knowing a bit more about the workmanship.

its ok. its not steller workmanship, I have a couple of rings from them, one is a diamond band (its single cut) and the other is a mount. The price is not bad, and their return was fairly painless, however just know that you will probably end up have to suck up shipping back to them and I think their "customization" fee I think it was like $39 for me. I bought another band of theirss, and their diamonds were pretty sparkly but it just didn't fit right so I returned it that was $500. The nice thing is that you can return it back to them in the US. The ring itself is shipped from China though.

D&T, thanks again. It''s good to know that returns are fairly painless, and that I might end up with a nice(ish) ring. I like a baguette band but I don''t know much about this cut of diamond, ie how to spot a well or poorly cut baguette stones. I guess they can''t be single cut? Excuse my ignorance.

D.

baugette band is really hard to keep clean (you would want to keep it clean more often than not) its pretty but its a pain to keep it sparkling well, I don't know much about this cut either, but it usually cost less for sidestones in baguettes. It has less facets than other cuts. But LOGR also does have full cut melees as well. Many have differing opinions whether they prefer full cut or single cuts on very small size stones.

Thanks D&T, I''ve had no experience with baguettes so appreciate this info. I haven''t bought a pave band either and can''t tell the difference in appearance between single and full cut small diamonds. I have a sapphire and diamond band where the (very small) diamonds are bead set, and looking at it now, probably single cut but can''t be sure.
