(whom you never met in person) if you bumped into he/she on the street? .If yes who would that person be? Maybe you recognize their jewelry that they posted on PS? Would you introduce yourself?

It happened to me. Greg and I were having ice cream at our favorite ice cream shoppe in OG and the sweetest most lovely PSer and her FI (now DH) came up to me and introduced themselves. It was such a nice surprise lol. And we are friends now IRL too.

If I post pictures of my jewelry who is to say that someone I already know IRL would by happenstance recognize me when doing their own jewelry research.

By my (and Greg's) face. We were cycling (and taking an ice cream break) so no bling on at all.
She also knew I was in the area where she and her DH vacation.

I am not trying to be coy about who it is but I want to respect her privacy and if she sees this and wants to chime in that would be great. I adore her.

I definitely would recognise some of the jewels, probably not by face though. I would just compliment them and maybe drop PS in the conversation to see if they react...

I've been known the recognise and call out jewellery in movies etc....
