Would this style be TOO MUCH?

I''m sorry I do not have pics, that is actually the reason behind my dilemma. I trying to find a setting for approx a 1 carat round H&A diamond ( we have yet to buy it), this would be my upgrade, so I''ll need a new ring. My current ring is a 3 stone, which has a lot of meaning to us, and I do not plan to get rid of the diamonds. I also have two .25 carat round diamonds on hand. Originally, my thought was to make another 3 stone setting with the 1 carat in the middle. However, I went to some B&M stores and tried on similar rings with those proportions, and I just felt like the ring looked too small (to me, it looked even smaller than my current ring, which is just 1 carat TOTAL weight, so pretty small). That''s when I started thinking about a Halo. Halos look good on my finger, I love the look, but I''m stuck because part of me still feels like I need a 3 stone ring on my left hand for sentimental reasons.

So..with these proporitons in mind (1 carat center, .25 sides) would it be TOO MUCh to halo JUST the center stone? (a small halo though) Like the Tacori 2623, but obviously very different? I don''t want to look ridiculous, but I do want my ring to look BIG, with the most emphasis on the center. I would love opinions--thanks and let me know if I need to re-clarify anything!

How "big" it will look depends on your own ring size!

as long as he diamonds aroun the halo are around 0.7 ish i think it would look great! personally i think the tacori Halo is too small..!

JeBri31508-I think if you set your stones in something similar it would look beautiful, not over the top at all on a 6.5 finger.

Great, thanks everyone, I think this is giving me the reassurance I needed, because I truly do want a 3 stone ring as my E Ring.

Mani5ha--I''ve noticed that we have similar tastes with the RB''s and cushion halos..do you know what size of halo you are wanting to go with? I like all those WF pics you posted earlier, do you know what size halo those are?
