I''m worn out by trying to understand all about nice diamonds....Would you all take a look at these gia reports and tell me if they''d make nice earrings?? I''m looking for a pair of diamonds that are really special, bright, sparkly? Do you think these would be, based on their numbers??? I found these on usacerted...

diamond #1 GIA report #1102651184 D 1.21 SI1 $6616.00

diamond#2 GIA report #2101452614 D 1.20 SI1 $6561.00

Any other suggestions? thanks for looking!

I''ve been looking at D because I just want to make sure they seem bright, in addition to having a great cut!

You don''t need to go with D''s...the sparkle comes from the cut.

ditto to Neat,
Do you mean WHITE as white as you can get (colorless)?

I agree with Neat. I''d go down to even an I for earrings as long as they are ideal cut they will look great.

The best cut is going to give you the sparkliest diamonds. If you love D go for it! But I agree you can go up to H and be safe or go check out some stones in person to see the color you like best.

Both stones are well cut from the numbers. Can't say anymore until an Idealscope image is provided.
Yes, an Idealscope image is needed for these if you can get one. This explains about IS images if you are unfamiliar with them
