I am finally getting me a pair of solitaire earrings. I have seen it at a jeweler here in HKG who has been highly recommended

I do understand retailers have their own mark up hence would like to know how much should it cost? Would it be cheaper to buy diamonds on-line?

Have seen 1.3 & 1.31 pair of earrings.F colour VS1 clarity and Excellent polish, Excellent symmetry, Excellent cut and no fluorescence

I am not a subscriber to the Rapaport price list.

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide. I am just a teacher and nearly 60 - been saving for this for literally all my life.

It will most likely be cheaper online. You'd be best checking places like James Allen, White Flash, ID Jewellery, Brain Gavin Diamonds etc to see their prices for similar items to figure out if you're getting a good deal.

Looks like a comparable stone is about $17,725 at Blue Nile, which is the only place I am seeing any in-house.
