Would 18K/Palladium match with Platinum?

I''ve only run into one ring made of 18K and palladium. If I wanted to get a "matching" wedding band in appearance and heft what should I do? Get an 18K band and have it dipped in palladium? Or get a platinum band? Would they match? I''d like a thin 2mm comfort fit band either way.
