Guffaw and chortle. Always makes me do it when I hear it.

Ugh! Dragonfly beat me to my favorite...impervious! And conniption.

Great thread Ali!

What about supercalifragilisticexpialidocious: any quality that is so indescribable that you have no real word to say it with

Other than that I really like:
lovely
absolutely
serendipity: an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident
giving
sharing
joy
laughter

Most of these lists include a lot of positive words, but I also think some words with negative connotations are really great words too. They''re words I "love" not because I like what they mean, but because they''re so powerful to use. So here they are...

Annihilate
Despair - because few other words convey the emotional connotation as this does...it just sounds like what it means.
Retching
Loathe
Exsanguinate
Famine

And to lighten things up again...
Discombobulated!!! I don''t even know if I''m spelling that right. I just used this in another thread and it reminded me of how fun it is.
Cumbersome - whenever I say this, everyone always says "wow, that''s such a great word!"

HI:

My 15 year old used "derisive" properly (within context) in a sentence the other day, and I secretly pumped my fist.....gosh I love that word!

cheers--Sharon

Taradiddle - just love that word!

Whilst - seems quintessentially English. Like me!

I''m going to admit that I''m weird upfront.

Gesticulation. My 11th grade AP biology teacher would make constant hand gesticuations. We would crack up.
