"Women are sex objects" says HH

I wish!

I can see what HH was trying to say.

There's a little bit of sex in every woman. How the woman chooses to play that up is her choice. Some men find a big chest, blonde hair and no brains sexy, while some prefer the arty girl from the coffee shop with brown hair and a masters in education. For every (straight) man there's a woman to meet his sexual desires. Now whether or not they meet their ideal womans sexual desires is another story.

I do not believe HH meant that the only thing a woman was good for was sex, which is what most people assume when they here "sex object." I really think he meant to say women are sexual beings, not sex objects. He is like 130 after all...

Neither flattering nor insulting, because it's irrelevant (to me).

Before I clicked, I thought this may be about our beloved Hudson Hawk and a carryover from another threead. Although I knew she never would consider ewomen sex objects.

Haha I did too Charbie!

Charbie, this is the first thing I thought of too! I was like "Hudson Hawk said what?" Ha ha ha!

I immediately thought of Hudson Hawk Too!

I was perplexed and then decided to take the advice of a previous thread and apply WWHHD?

Then realized that didn't help either if HH had indeed said this! Confused? So was I until I remembered Hugh Hefner!

After a Duracell ad, Hugh Hefner says, "women are sex objects."

Kenny asks: Flattering or insulting?

Is there some truth to this?

The truth to it is that, unfortunately, that is our history. Our lot was, as the title of a book says, to Suffer and Be Still through much of history throughout much of the world. Mr. Hefner has certainly done his best to make money from objectifying us. That does not mean that we have to accept it or that it has to be our future, however. I really think that you have accidentally asked an intelligent question, Kenny.

No way. He thinks he is a sexual being. Being a man and all, he is actually a full human being (in his eyes). And about the age thing? He was like this at 30.

Very well said, AGBF! I mean ... it's Hugh Hefner. Of course he wants people to think so! No guilt about his magazines, then either in producing, or in purchasing.

Hugh Hefner actually turned into this sex focused guy after his first wife cheated on him.
He was so heart broken and he claims it was the worst day of his life (when he found out).
His wife felt so guilty, she actually encouraged Hugh to cheat on her with others. They eventually broke up.

HH, shame on you; you shouldn't be so sexist.

Sorry, but I'm a hot piece! It's hard to not think of other women in the same way  I kid, I kid...

My next door neighbor, a good ole boy from Georgia, is a dead ringer for HH
minus the smoking jacket and the 20 year olds.
