If you have 20k to spend on jewelry, would you upgrade your current ring or get a new one? This is a hypothetical question and it''ll be several years before I can have that kind of budget, but just wondering what''s everyone''s thoughts on this. Hubby says that 2 rings is always better than 1, but on the other hand it might be nicer to have 1 really nice ring vs. 2 average ones?

If it''s your original ring I''d keep it (but I''m like that). If not or you don''t care about sentimental value then upgrade

The possibility for an upgrade for me is there because we bought the stone from GOG, but I''m kinda thinking instead I may want an Asscher or a pretty yellow diamond RHR.

If your current ring is already a decent size, I''d probably get a second ring for the variety. 20k is a big budget that would buy a very nice RHR, second e-ring, or amazing eternity band. I would probably swing for a fancy shaped cushion, asscher, or something different than a classic round if that''s what you already own.

I agree with this. If your hubby and you have sentimental feelings toward the 1st ering then I would use the 20k for a beautiful RHR

Yeah I agree with this also. 20k will get you a beauty of a RHR

I would get another ring whether that be another diamond or beautiful coloured stone.

Last time I checked though 20k will buy you more then just an average ring :P
