im showing my age but the girl i sat beside at intermediate school had every David Bowie album and it all looked a big scary from a 1984 perspective
and no disrespect to David Bowie (RIP) because of Justine i know so much of his earlier work

Finally!! I was just wondering about Wilhelmina the other day. Now here I am wondering how long this video is, cause I've been watching it for like 5 minutes. I could watch it all night. And this is my favorite lighting for old cuts. It's magical!

I didn't think anything could top the earring contraption, and I'm not usually a huge fan of bezels, collets or engraving, but WOW! So so so breathtaking! How are you going to sleep the next few nights?

I love her transformation from the before to after. It was such a shame that she was sitting forgotten in that dreadful setting. That's how I feel about my Maxine too. I want to rescue them all! Can I set up a diamond rescue non-profit? I'll accept donations, and will adopt them out to good homes. What a thought...
 
Oh, @vitona526, what a Cinderella story! It's like you're Wilhelmina's fairy god mother! You rescued her from a life of sadness and neglect and gave her the beautiful dress she always deserved. :kiss2:

I’m not sure if you can tell but it’s actually a faux bezel. Willy is so pretty edge to edge I wanted to see all of her. And the crown view is :kiss2:

The engraving wasn’t quite what I had imagined. It looks different to my eyes, maybe less deep?, than the spring gulch and others rings I’ve seen on her Instagram. I like it, I’m not sending it back or complaining but it is different than expected.

All in all I love it. The ring is so comfortable to wear and offers the perfect amount of substance, great finger coverage. As I said before it’s the perfect setting for my lifestyle for at least the next 8-10 years. I feel very lucky to wear her on my finger!

Yeah the rings you mention are carved in a deep relief. This is engraved in a different style.
