Wealth, the name of a TV Channel, constantly advertises a bad knock off of the ring. Unknown metal and not even a lab stone. Imagine a male announcer with a (maybe fake) English accent hawking a ring that was originally set for "39 dollars 90" but for a limited time only you can have this historic ring for "19 dollars 90"

It makes me laugh everytime I see it

Totally agree - although I must admit I have been eyeing up her wardrobe and wouldn't say no to a few of her coats...

The thing that has really suprised me about the ring is that people were pretty meh about it right up to the announcement Wills had given it to Catherine. It was seen as really '80's. Suddenly it's all the rage again. Personally I don't care for that kind of setting, although it does look really nice on her hand - nicer than on Diana IMO.

ETA: Just to be really sad... I'm flying out to Sri Lanka tomorrow night with my daughter and I've booked my ticket back for next Thursday just so that I will be back in time for the wedding... am I a staunch Monarchist or what!

We are actually running away from London on wedding day to get away from the ruckus. My in laws neighbours are having an official street party, and they are also escaping.

Will be watching it from a safe distance on TV though!
