Will this ruin my ring

I have a platinum setting for my diamond and I''m curious if using the antibacterial hand gel or foams will ruin or discolor either the metal or the diamond. I''m a med student and using the disinfectant gel is a great time saver instead of having to run back to the sink to wash my hands between patients. Should I be worried?

Also, if is possible to discolor the stone using windex or diluted plain ammonia to clean my stone. Is once a week too much for cleaning?
