My girlfriend checked this ring out and liked it online. "sleek line pave" ring

http://www.whiteflash.com/Engagement-Rings/Styles/Diamond-Settings/-Sleek-Line-Pave--Diamond-Engagement-Ring_1184.htm#

However, the side pave diamonds are rounds. Since I am know fashion guru, will the rounds clash with the an asscher center? Does it look odd? Or is this quite normal to have something like that.

Thanks!

-Anyone every seen a ring like this with asscher pave setting?

It''s pretty normal to put other shape centers in pave rings. I would stay away from bigger stones than pave in other shapes, but pave should be totally fine.

Thanks for the replies.

Strmrdr, I have been reading a lot of your posts related to asschers and wanted to say that I would never have found GOG if you did not recommend. That website has some really awesome videos for a bunch of different stones. I recommend it to any other newbie like me to check out.

Your welcome.
Have some pics of the stone you can post if you have it already or still hunting?

Still hunting, will post though when I get to that point.

If you have a winner make sure to reserve it before you post! Lurkers like to steal...
