Will bezel make my I color diamond appear yellower?

So, I have a GIA I diamond and I was thinking of having it reset into a full bezel. It would be a white gold bezel and I was wondering if the bezel will make it appear more yellow than prong set.

btw, I got the beautiful diamond from Mark at ERD and it scored a 1.0 on the HCA

Hi there. With the caveat that my experience is mostly with loose goods, I would say that I''m fairly certain it would not make your diamond look more yellow. I would guess it would have the opposite effect filling your stone with more white color. I''d be interested to hear from an experienced jeweler if I''m right or not.

i would recommend a beaded edge to the bezel. the texture will diffuse the stark line of contrast between the metal and the stone
