Width of wedding band

Hi everyone, just wanted a few opinions....do you think my wedding band looks too wide? My jeweller has asked if I would like to have it shaved down on the sides....thoughts?? Thanks!!!!

Do you mean that your jeweler could shave down some of the metal on either side of the channel? If it can be done safely I say do it! Not because the width looks ba, I think it look totally fine, but I think that having less metal is always a good thing when it comes to diamonds bands.

I agree with dd. Is you ering milgrained or is that just prong settings I''m seeing? Maybe an option would be to
milgrain your wedding band to make the metal less noticeable (this could make it look more busy though).

Very pretty! If your jeweler can shave it down just a tiny bit, I would go ahead.

I tend to like thinner bands, but if you like it then I wouldn''t mess with it..

You''re welcome sweetie. The other alternative I was thinking of was to keep this wedding band as it is to wear when you don''t want to wear your e-ring, (or as a RHR) and buy a narrower band to wear with your e-ring as your wedding set.

Thanks to everyone for their opinions!!!

My ring has no milgrain work on, I actually had a Tacori ring for the first 4 months of my engagement and had it remade 3 times however there were several issues, one of them being the milgrain. My husband was super careful to steer clear from milgrain when designing this ring, although I still LOVE the look of the Tacori rings and the milgrain I need to give this some serious thought, once I have it shaved down, I can''t get the wide band back!! (I sound like my Husband!!

GEMGIRL!!! LOOOVVEE that idea if only my husband would love it as well!!! haha....that really is a great idea...I do LOVE the presence of the wedding band on it''s own. I still feel like I''m wearing something with some bling, you know Maybe that is in my future!!!
