...put racing stripes on a Smart Car? o_O

Your turn to add your real world observations.

Why would you agree to marry someone you picked out of a group in less than 60 minutes? My friends are obsessed with the new show “the proposal”.

Walk across the street with your two year old lagging behind you and not bothering to give him a second glance until you have safely reached the opposite side?

Why would you watch 'reality TV' nonsense when you could be doing something productive that makes the world a better place?

Walk while reading/texting on your mobile device? Not pay attention as you are crossing the street? Stop on stairs while others are trying to get by? And generally just not pay attention while you are out and about? Why???:errrr:

Common sense. Not so common.:knockout:

Picking up from @AprilBaby and @OoohShiny - Why would one go on a reality TV show? No one's life can really stand up to that kind of scrutiny. Especially those who are inclined to go on reality tv in general.:wink2:

though I can answer @OoohShiny 's question...to escape from our own life for a while/get out of our heads and just relax and get away from reality. LOL quite the paradox isn't it?

Leave your dog in the car in the summer to go into a store? Seriously the worst offender of this I ever saw was a guy who left his dog in a hot car and went into Petco...:angryfire:

Just the other day this woman left her dog in the car with black tinted windows cracked about an inch and parked in direct sun when shade was ten steps more for her, still not okay to leave the dog even in the shade by my God she didn't even have the brains for that much :wall:

Oh man dogs in cars on hot days makes me so angry! :x2
Mine would be why get a dog and walk it if you’re just going to be on your phone ignoring it the whole time? Like nothing on the phone is as good as looking down at your sweet wee pup’s face as they potter alongside you.

Why would you have a baby after 65? I’ve read several stories about women in other countries having babies in their 70’s. Even men, you would be upper 80’s at high school graduation.

I’m amazed they can! Must have super late menopause or stored some eggs?

They use donor eggs and sperm, take huge amounts of hormones to get their bodies able to accept a pregnancy. It’s madness, and frankly selfish to have a child after nature has told your body it’s too late. Of course, there have been the very rare cases of women having children later in life, but this isn’t the case. It’s hard enough caring for children when you’re young, there’s no way I’d want to go through all that now that I’m on way to 60. I’m fit, healthy and active, but I wouldn’t be able to cope now.

That is criminal behavior IMO. People who do this should be put in a jail cell with no air or windows or water and see how they fare.:nono::nono::nono:
I have called the police before when I came across a dog in a car with all the windows shut on a boiling hot day. And I would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact on hot days I actively look in cars as we pass them (on the bike or walking) to make sure there are no animals in the cars. People who leave their animals in cars on hot days should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and if the law doesnt treat that as criminal then the law needs to be changed. IMO.

Why would you ever treat your animals as accessories and not the loving living beautiful beings that they are?

Why would you ever go out of your way to be rude and inconsiderate when IMO it feels so much nicer to be kind and generous and helpful. Takes more energy to be nasty and mean than it does to be kind to others.

@missy, I actually called the cops on the guy who left his dog in the car and went into Petco. Followed him in there and asked him why he would do that when you could clearly bring them in and then told him if I couldn't leave my defenseless son in the car, he couldn't leave his defenseless dog. His response?

"Yeah well I don't have any kids, it's not the same so why don't you shut up and go away"

The cop however didn't agree with him! :naughty:

Agree completely - I’m astonished that doctors would go along with it! Also I don’t get how you’d have a child so late and be ok with not being able to see them grow up, get married, have a family etc.
