Why is this larger sapphire so inexpensive?

Hmm....

Nothing strikes me as really obvious! I don''t know if maybe it''s a slightly greyish blue, or something?

Buy it! Quick! LOL!!

Seems pretty deep to me looking at the dimensions, colour isn''t great looking either.

Looks pretty dark. I don''t know how they light their stones, but I''m guessing that one will be darker in person.

Wow what a pretty stone. It seems like a very good price to me.

1. Not so great colour. Light saturation with some gray.
2. Not so great cut. Non calibrated (will need custom setting) and a bit deep.
3. More "flaws" might become apparent if a side picture and pavilion view is seen.

1. The photograph looks weirdly lit. And there is only the one pic.
2. Pretty deep: it would have to sit up pretty high to not have the culet hit your finger.
3. The colour looks kind of nice but I thik it would be quite dark IRL.

I''m also wondering if the color is streaky....

i''m seeing some green zoning......but beauty is in the eye of the beholder....and in some cases that wouldn''t bother me. but a high quality sapphire in that size would be many thousands. have it sent to you and send it back if you don''t like it.

Thanks all.

Oh, no, I''m not considering purchasing it. I''m not an oval person. I just wanted to know what was going on and to learn.
