What makes you love diamonds? If you have multiple diamonds - what has led you to have them? I have multiple diamonds and am considering another to mark a significant work accomplishment - but I am feeling a little sheepish. I need to hear from my tribe. Lol.

It’s the scintillation and fire - can watch it for hours. Also when you get a really well cut stone it’s like it has a life of its own. I say more is more when it comes to white shiny rocks that make your heart sing.

Diamonds are a brilliant combination of both mathematics and artistry. The earth delivers a canvas upon which the artist may design and create. Simultaneously, however, the designer(s) must be cognizant (particularly with MRBs) of the strict rules under which they must operate in order to bring to life the best light performance possible.

Of course the artists are not all equal, and their products reflect (or refract) that. Some will sacrifice artistry for the sake of carat weight seeking profit. Others may not know any better and simply miss the mark with poorly defined angles.

For me there is a thrill in the fantastic 'treasure hunt' to find those rare diamonds that have had the correct palette supplied by nature and end up in the hands of a true artist who can create a masterpiece.

For me, I love the hardness (durability) and brilliance. I find colorless diamonds very versatile as you can wear them with everything! I like both earth mined due to the history (for fine jewelry) and lab created due to the value (for fashion, semi fine jewelry). Diamonds are timeless, so...
