Does anyone know the name of the PS member who owns this beautiful emerald cut ring? I am interested in finding out where the mounting was purchased or made (it''s probably a custom piece). Please help me locate the owner.
Many thanks! I''ve located her. Unfortunately she lives in the UK so she probably had her ER custom made over there. Any suggestions on where I could have the ER setting duplicated in the US? I have a .55 emerald cut stone that I want to have remounted into something interesting for my right hand. (I am purchasing a new three stone EC ring to wear with my wedding band.)
Any assistance would be appreciated by fellow PSers. I was thinking about Whiteflash. Any comments?
Thanks.
P.S. My EC stone is an E, VS1 and very, very white and clean.
Hiya. Thanks for your kind compliments. I''ve had no internet connection for 3 weeks and was starting to get withdrawl symptoms from surfing this forum, so apologies for not replying sooner.
My DH bought this from a local jewellers in Glasgow and its a popular style here. I have been toying with having it reset so that it sits well with my eternity ring but it wouldn''t be right, so i''m going to keep it as is. I do love my twisty ring cos its the opposite of all that is angular and structured about the emerald cut.
If you want I can take some pics of the profile etc, if that''s helpful if you are looking for ideas. I''m sure there are several vendors who could help you.
Thanks for answering my post about your rings! I just covet both of them. I have never seen an EC set like yours before and I love your fairly new acquisition---the five stone band. My EC stone is about the same size as yours so if you could take profile pics and post them that would be great. My motto is that you can never have too many ECs! I also saw your EC earrings which I would like to get down the road.
If you I were you, I would leave your wedding set just as it is. It is unique and original with a lot of bling at the same time. It''s interested that you live in the UK because my husband is from the UK (Ramsgate, England) and does not understand the obsession we Americans have with BIG and BLINGY diamonds. He wasn''t going to even buy me ring because he thought it was a waste of money. He finally bought me one I had seen and liked because of the quality of the stone. I will be paying for the reset though.
