Hi!
A couple of months back some of you helped me in trying to decide what sort of band I want - which I intend to wear as my only ring. Married 6 years and never got into a classic ering look. (truthfully love so many that I can not ever decide!) Thought just a band would be easier and it is still tricky. So I think I am getting closer and want opinions.
I currently have a nice quality (but needs to be reset/sized) eternity band. Shared prong 2 ctw.
I tell you this because I may want to stack it with whatever I choose.
I was thinking pave band - 5 mm or more. Thanks to cinnamon I found memoire. I have been going into B&M places to see one. Most of them are clueless and some have even tried to tell me a band is memoire that isn''t (nieman marcus if y ou can believe it!!).
But then I started liking 3ctw princess invisible sets. But realize that the setting is riskly and the look really is dated. But for some reason I liked how modern and almost unisex it looked.
Well, today, I went into Jared and really fell in love with a setting. I wanted to buy it but having been on pricescope for several months now I could hear you all chanting
DON"T DO IT!.
So - who do you suggest I use for recreating the ring I saw today? I will describe it:
2 rows of 5 stones each (so 10 stones total). Shared prong. THICK band with squared inside of the band (part inside the hand)
2.5 CTW
They wanted 6K for it . They said the stones were H but it looked yellowish. Anyway - I have already looked up Jared here and am glad I walked away.
But I like the look of the ring so any ideas on which of the vendors you all suggest alot would be best? Do I just call them up and describe the ring?
I guess I am nervous about any sort of custom ring because I may not like it. But although I have never seen this ring before it doesn''t seem too unusual.
What do you think?
