That's hilarious - exactly like something my DH would do!
Probably with different intentions though :halo:

My reaction too! Seems bitter and not light-hearted.

Yea, and it borders on abuse of power so it's really a bit scary. If he's going to use his authority for this, how can she feel safe living there?

Doesn't exactly seem like something a mayor should be doing...

His authority? You mean his money? Because they are considering laying charges against him, so he certainly isn't "getting away with it".

I think that even though I'd be annoyed by the rock taking up my whole lawn, I could also laugh at it. Yeah, he's a jerk, but it's still funny.

It may seem bitter, but how would you feel if your husband hounded you for some big expensive something your entire relationship? It seems that's what she did since he said "she always wanted a big rock". Maybe the boulder was a bit big, but I'd totally pull something similar as a prank. You get what you ask for overandoverandoverandover.

It would make me happy I was no longer with him!

I know people go with lower clarity to get the size up but this is ridiculous.

I don't think you'd be laughing once you got the bill for having that thing removed from your front yard.

I saw a different article about this yesterday. Its totally harassment! Apparently they're going through a pretty nasty divorce so to me that makes it pretty creepy.

Right, she wanted a big diamond that makes it okay for him to dump a giant boulder on her lawn and refuse to remove it. Seriously?

This is obviously harassment, not a prank. A prank is typically light-hearted and fun and done between 2 people who have a good relationship.

On one hand, I do think it is funny but there seemed to be something mean spirited about it that made me think it was a bit messed up. :-o
