Who to trust?

So I''ve been shopping for an engagement ring for about a week. I stumbled across this website while looking for more information about the designer I''m interested in buying a ring from (Stuart Moore). I love the style of the jewelry he produces and I''m sure my girlfriend will to. I hear he is over priced. Can anyone steer me in the direction of a comparable designer in Northern California?

If you are in Northern near BayArea, check out Joe Escobar Jewelers in Campbell and Toppers Jewelers in Burlingame...both can do custom work and I have heard both are quite good. Slammie''s ring on here was done by Toppers and it''s one of my absolute all time favorites. Good luck!
