And for how much? And do you like the setting? I am going to put an L 1 kt in it.

Each jeweler will probably have different quote depending on several factors. Give them a call.

Based on what factors, metal, and size of side stones? I want pladdium and .3k

yap, metal, craftmanship, design/CAD, side stones, warranty, etc... each have their own pricing, best to just call them.

If you are looking at highperformancediamond, Wink also does good custom for reasonable price, so check with him too. But I think he do not like working with PD as his experience with it is that the metal is that it fails too often.

Hi, tarator,
Wink is making a custom design ring for my 1 ct. M Infinity stone, in unplated white gold and yellow gold with milgrain and sidestones. Stone is correct; his prices are very reasonable. I''m not sure if he works in palladium either, but it''s worth asking.

I received an e-mail from him about my ring yesterday, and he said he''d be out of town for a few days. But call his office; his staff will know his schedule. There are some pictures of his custom designs in the Pricescope Gallery.

Absolutely! I have found horrible problems with this metal, including a shank that shattered after just a few months wear. (we replaced at no charge).

I will NO LONGER do palladium as it has generated about a 50% problem ratio. Maybe my bench does not know the secret, but some very gifted benchmen tell me it is a horrible metal for jewelry and I like to listen better now that I tried it anyway and had horrible results...

Taxi should be here in a few minutes!

Wink,

Ditto to that.

We also sell Palladium jewelry for those purists who choose this inherently white precious metal as an alternative to platinum and who do not subscribe to white gold (yellow gold which has been dipped/plated to turn it white).

However, our experience with palladium is that it is more of a britlle metal than gold and therefore needs much more attention in the manufacturing process.

Judah and Wink...

I would definitely suggest having your bench guys do a bit more research into the metal, or even looking at a few different manufacturers if you guys are having issues, because Palladium has been a fantastic metal for us over the last 4 years, with no more or fewer issues than we''ve had with either Platinum or Gold pieces. I think it''s worth giving the metal another try. I''m a huge fan of it both personally, and professionally.

Just my 2 cents.
