Who makes this setting?

I love this X prong setting from WF, but I don''t like the horizontal bar that covers so much of the diamond behind the X.
Does anybody make something similar without the bar?
Is it even possible to make it like that? I mean, is it still safe structurally?

Since you love it, they are best to make it for you with the modifications you love. I would ask them about the structural stuff I bet they could make it like you love it.

I, too, love this setting and the Vatche royal (tapered) x-prong and agree with what you are thinking. However, I do believe that that horizontal bar (which is a basket for the stone to also sit in) gives more security and stability to the diamond.

Do you all agree?
