Linda, since you are the co-president of the Tessa fan club (with miss skippy) I knew you would enjoy these. How funny the first 10-15 were great. She posed and paid attention then she quickly lost interest. But out of 100 I think I got a lot of frame worthy pics.

Sounds like the GTG was so much fun! One of my really good friends lives in Charlotte (Salisbury I think). If I ever get around to visiting her maybe I can meet up with you guys..
I think it took me a good year before I felt like I had my body back. Don''t despair!

I am feeling better than I was. I am very hormonally challenged. Two weeks out of every month I wish even *I* could get away from myself!

iluv, I would love to see your beautiful halo in person!!! It is always so fun to see the person BEHIND the screen name. Is there any medication that can level you out a bet (since it is hormonal)? Or...I am on seasonique where you only get your period 4 times a year. Maybe that would help you too (better to feel bad 4 times than 12). Tessa has a cold I think. I thought it was just teething issues (the runny nose) but it seems like every kid we know is sick or has been and I am starting to feel it now too.

Tacori, I have tried 8 different bc pills and none of them agree with me. It is too bad b/c I am prone to ovarian cysts that grow to the size of grapefruits and then burst.

I had emergency surgery for one last year. I had a liter of blood in my belly

If I could take bc and stop ovulating I would. I am really sensitive to estrogen. I am on an estrogen patch which is about 1/10 of a bc pill and it does help me to feel better.

Unfortunately Tessa is at that age where she is going to get sick a lot. It''s like the virus du jour. But think of it as building up her immune system, b/c if she doesn''t do it now, then she will just constantly be sick when she starts school. It is no fun to not be able to make them feel better though

I think it is even harder on us sometimes - the mom guilt and all! I hope you are not catching it too

Lor, you are always so sweet to me! T will be a cutie. I am sure her daddy will eat all the candy she gets. But at least it will keep me from it!

Linda, hopefully it will be worth the wait! Thank you got the nice compliments. Every woman looks her best on her wedding day.

iluv, I get ovarian cysts too...seasonique has helped a lot though. I used to get them (and they would erupt) a few times a year. I have never needed surgery but ended up in the ER too many times to count. I had a 5cm one during my first u/s. The tech was looking at that first and I though I was looking at an empty womb. At the time my uterus was also 5cm. Luckily it shrunk on its own since pain meds would have been out of the question.

Even though T is sick she really is a good baby. She hardly fusses. If it wasn''t for her nose we probably wouldn''t even know. I do feel bad though. It would be easier if she could blow her nose.

Cute Tessa Story (for her fan club), we were at Target and the cashier and the lady behind me thought she was so cute (and were talking to her and stuff). As we were leaving I said "Tessa say bye" she started waving and saying "ba! Ba!" I thought they were going to explode from the cuteness. They went crazy.

Linda, she is not really running yet but walking a lot. If I sit on the floor and hold my arms out she will walk to me and leap into my arms

Hopefully she does that to my mom b/c I know she would love it (well, who wouldn''t?!?)

coati, Thanks for all the compliments. I am jealous you get it once a month! Since DH hates Indian I only get it a few times a year.

My favorite thing to do on a Saturday afternoon would be to RELAX! That is my one day a week I get to sleep in and I LOVE sleep. Then I like to take walks with T or sometimes DH and I will take her to the park. I like just spending time with my family. I am a homebody though.

My favorite artist growing up was Mary Cassatt. I think b/c I really loved drawing women and children and was so amazed by her ability to capture that bond. Then I discovered Chuck Close. He is amazing! If I could paint like anyone in the world it would be him. My artwork was influenced by him in college but I don''t have the talent he does. Plus to think he does these HUGE pieces of work in a wheelchair is inspiring. DH actually bought me a PBS special on him (on tape) that showed how he painted and it was so cool. Please go see his work IRL if there is ever a show.

Charger, sometimes I wonder how I got to be so lucky. I know every mom probably feels the way I do about their own child. It is humbling how much love I feel for her. She is such a special little girl and I am honored to share her with my PS friends.
