Just look at that little Tessa in those jeans!!!!! Tacori she is an absolute little doll!!!! Look at her little butt, tee hee. Don''t babies look adorable in jeans???? Their little butts look so cute in them. I loved when my grandboys were that age and wearing jeans ha ha ha ha.

She looks soooooooooooo cute in her little jacket too. Geez, I wish I could pick her up and give her a smooch and a cuddle. I love her little chubby cheeks too.

Don''t I sound like a typical grandma???? She is just one beautiful little baby girl.

Linda, I KNEW you would get a kick out of that picture. Probably b/c it takes talent to stick your butt AND stomach out at the same time. It is adorable. I think her cheeks are smaller than my baby cheeks. I still have big cheeks though! My mom is coming on Wed. and is SOOO excited! She hasn''t seen her since Aug.

marcy, she was so amazed by them. They were the first pumpkins she had ever seen. It was hard to get her to look at the camera. She also gets SO distracted by other kids (which of course there were). I was singing, clapping, doing anything to try to get her to look at us. Haha.

joflier, thank you, she is a happy girl. I wonder all the time WHAT she is thinking about!

ha ha ha ha Tacori, I bet you won''t either. I know when Ryan was first born, my mom and I used to hover over him. My daughter used to get so upset with us at times. I told her we just couldn''t help it.

Geez, what am I saying I still hover over them, HA!!!

Linda, mine is so much shorter than everyone else's.

Tessa is our whole world. DH and I still marvel that we created such a perfect little creature. I guess *that* feeling probably never goes away huh?

The husband came over. Saw Tessa. I quote (from the man who used to not want kids...) "Oh! Look at her EYES! And the little cheeks! Awwww!" LOL

ETA! Look at the little baby booty, LOL! That picture is freaking adorable.

dragon, we bought her a mini pumpkin. We still need to carve them though.

geck, how cute of your husband. Sounds like he is a breeder convert. I think T''s eyes do command the most comments. I think b/c they are an unusual color and she has her daddy''s long lashes. I love the profile pic too (even though she is looking away). Baby proportions are such so adorable!

I just wanted to say you have great taste in books. If you like Jennifer Weiner and Meg Cabot, you would like Jane Greene and Marian Keyes. I LOVED THESE BOOKS. I read them so fast and they both have a bunch of books so far and they are both still writing so it''s awesome. I also love Jodi Picoult, she is an amazing writer.

ruby, thanks! I guess it is common to be obsessed with polka dots! Poor kid. Whenever I see clothes with circles I HAVE to have it.

Ilove, thanks again! I LOVE Jane Green. "Jemima J" was my favorite! I need to try Marian Keyes. I always see her books. Are they a series or independent stories? I feel like I have read Jodi Picoult but cannot remember the title. Have you read the book the new TV show "Privilege" is based off? You would love that book if you like the other authors. Plus the show is really cute. Sadly my reading has slowed down since T was born but I still try (just FORCE myself to put the book down and go to sleep) b/c it is something I really enjoy.

Lisa, babies in jeans is SO cute! They are hard to get on but worth it. I got them during Old Navy''s $7 sale. No way am I spending a ton of money on baby clothes.

I mostly lurk, but wanted to add my admiration for Tessa. She''s just so yummy. And I

her name.

I saw a Chuck Close exhibit in San Francisco a few years back- one where it was many self-portraits done over time- but same pose and in different mediums. It was amazing.

Also, wanted to say that I remember you posted once that you felt like no one ever read or responded to your posts- just wanted to let you know that I always read your posts!!! I like your honesty and your sense of humor, especially about being preggo/having kids.

ChinaCat, what a sweet thing to say! I am sure everyone has those moments where they feel ignored

But I feel like I have found my place. I *am* honest. Hopefully I don't scare anyone out of motherhood! I am not someone who glosses my life over to make it sound better. Haha. That being said I love being a mom. Even during the boring days, the cranky days, feeling fat, tired, and frustrated she is a great kid. She had her first temper tantrum today. She laid face down on the rug and kicked her legs (while crying of course)

This went on for a few minutes. I am not looking forward to the day her strong personality *really* comes out (like the teenage years). But I will remind myself daily that she will return to my sweet Tessa...one day. We all did. Surprisingly enough DH named her. He found it in a baby book. People seem to love it. My little 4 year old neighbor calls her "Tess Tess". Sometimes I call her "Tessabeth" since her middle name is Elizabeth.

Chuck Close is SOOO amazing! Can you believe he is in a wheel chair? His paintings are so massive. But they showed this thing they have that rotates the canvas for him (in the bio video) plus there is a space between the wall and floor so they can lower the canvas. He has help too (but I am sure most major artist do). His drawings are not the most flattering (who likes have their pores on display

) but so cool. He is my idol for sure!

Linda, I PROMISE you will know when I am coming. (and I AM, just a question on WHEN). I told DH we should do it before her 2nd b-day (so we don't have to buy a separate seat for her). He said we should leave T behind with his mom. We'll see! But either way you will be able to meet *me*.

Tacori, glad I finally had a chance to see this thread and learn more about you and see more pictures of Tessa! I swear she gets more beautiful each day! Love the pictures of her in jeans at the pumpkin patch! I bought a pair of baby jeans for D during the $7 old navy sale too. I can''t wait for him to wear them! It''ll be awhile though since they are 6-12 month.
