I know Tacori has a darling little girl named Tessa; please share more about you

Thanks Skippy.

I am a typical middle child with an older sister and a younger brother. I grew up in the Midwest for the most part which I love except the weather. Too cold for me which is why we both wanted to move to NC. I met DH in college and we finally got married August of 2006. Only took 5.5 years together. I have a BFA in graphic design and he has a BS in Biology. I still do a little design work (very part time) and DH is in real estate. Almost seven months ago we welcomed Tessa into the world. Being a mom is a tough job for sure but she makes us so happy. She is such a fun and sweet little girl. I feel lucky to have her and watch her grow. I am already terrified of her teenage year but we''ll get through it.

Not sure what else you want to know!

Love reading about you and your family Tacori. Yes, adorable little Tessa is a blessing.

Linda

Linda, mine is so much shorter than everyone else''s.

Tessa is our whole world. DH and I still marvel that we created such a perfect little creature. I guess *that* feeling probably never goes away huh?

No, it NEVER does. And....... one day when you have grandchldren the love is even GREATER, if you could ever imagine that.

Tacori,
I think I''ve told you before, but I''ll repeat it -- Tessa is adorable.

What is our beautiful Tessa up to lately?

Wow, that is awesome about the graphics design; you are talented. What type of graphics if you don''t mind sharing? What type of music do you like? Favorite movies, tv shows, and foods?

Linda, I cannot imagine that but I can imagine what an awesome feeling it must be seeing your child raise their child (if that makes sense).

Harriet, thanks dear. She is a cutie.

She''s crawling!!!! So crazy how fast they change at this age.

I do print design. Mostly logos, brochures, ads, billboards, business stationary... anything that can be printed. I used to be an art director for a local magazine (basically did the whole layout and some of the ads). It was a lot of work!

I pretty much like any kind of music. Mostly rock, top 40, some country, some alternative (reminds me of high school
37.gif
). Same with movies except I do not like Science Fiction or horror. I love suspense, comedies, romance....probably suspense/thriller are my favorite. I also love to read chick lit but don''t get to as much anymore. I used to read one book a week. Now I am lucky if I can finish one in a month. I admit I love reality TV. It is embarrassing but true. I also watch "The Office", "Samantha Who", "Grey''s", "Medium" can''t think of what else...My taste in food is pretty boring. I am kind of picky. Though I love Chicken Tikka Masala.
18.gif
DH hates Indian so I don''t get it too often. I love chocolate. My new food addiction is Promax protein bars. They are so good!

How picky are you? I am pretty picky too; I can''t eat bell peppers or any peppers. Do you have a favorite book? I like Medium too!

Yay Tessa!! Cool about the print design; looks like a fun job. . . you must be very creative!

It''s so nice to hear about you Tacori! I''ll echo what everyone else has said. Tessa is just perfection. She''s a really gorgeous child. And no, you will never stop marveling at what a perfect creation she is. She will continue to amaze and inspire you forever.

LOL at the reality TV. I''d never peg you as a junkie!

I am a little behind checking in here, but I was lucky to be able to meet Tacori back in 2006 when I was ring shopping. I think we got together twice that summer or fall. She is pretty and petite, and I think she is very talented! Being a graphic artist, she did her own wedding invitations and also showed me the local magazine she was doing! Tacori and I both love antique settings, so it was fun shopping for settings with her. I ended up with a temp setting at that time, because the one I really had liked was discontinued. We had visited Tiffany''s at that time, and I ended up going back alone this past January (when Tessa was a newborn and I knew Tacori wasn''t doing much sleeping!) and bought the Legacy band, which has the milgrain she and I both love! Another thing that impressed me about Tacori was that since I am almost old enough to be her MOTHER, she so willingly met me for lunch and took the time to shop with me! I was with her when she bought her bridesmaids'' gifts at Tiffany. Now here she is with a 7 month old baby! Where did all the time go!!!??? We hope to have a local get-together in the next couple of months since there are now a couple more PS people in the area.

Tacori.
I am enjoying reading more about you. I know you are a terrific Mom to Tessa. I can''t believe she is crawling already, she''ll we waliking and talking soon. How fun.

Skippy, I just like simple things. My parents are total foodies and love fancy food...not me! My taste buds are immature I guess. I wish I liked tomatoes but I don''t. Not even marinara so that cuts out a lot of food. I can do pizza though as long as there isn''t a lot of sauce.

I really like Jennifer Greene, Meg Cabot, Jennifer Wierner (sp?) I just finished her latest book that was based off the character in "Good in Bed". It was good...sad though. One of my favorite books is called "The Night of the Avenging Blowfish" it is laugh out loud funny. Also I loved the book "The Power of One." Kind of a coming of age book about a boy in South Africa. Long but amazing. How fun would it be to have a PS book club?!?

My mom tells me I am creative

It is a fun job...usually...It is hard to do logos b/c most people don''t really know what they want.

Miranda, it is embarrassing but I love reality TV. It is like watching a car crash. Though some aren''t so bad. I like "Top Chef," "Dancing With Stars," "Real Housewives of_____," and I have even been watching the trashy E! Channel ones...*blush* Thank you for the compliments on Tessa. She is a sweet baby. I am lucky to have an easy first. Our friends who went to the beach with us kept commenting how perfect she was. My mom said my next one will be horrible
23.gif
I hope not!

DS, you are so sweet!!! We do share a love for antique styles so I hope whenever you find your perfect sapphire you can finally get yours. I still think about that setting at KP where we colored the stone with a blue marker so I could see what it looked like with a sapphire
30.gif
That is probably my dream RHR. I can''t wait to see your Leon AND Legacy band in person.
18.gif
Let me know what days work for you. July is pretty busy. June is completely free as is the second part of August.

I remember buying my BM''s gifts. Time does fly! I never looked at you like you were my mom but even if I did I *like* spending time with her!
2.gif

Lisa, DH and I were just saying how we can''t wait to hear her "voice." I mean she kind of makes noises and says "Dadada...Nanana" but we want her to form actual words. I have an awesome mother and can only hope I am as half as good as she is. I am just doing the best I can
1.gif
But it is a joy. Though walking I am NOT looking forward to. For such little legs toddlers can move FAST!!!

Yay! More from Tacori! I am enjoying getting to read more about you, so glad you are here on PS to share your knowledge with us. And of course, your little Tessa is such a sweetie and adorable. I love it when you change your avatar so we can see how much cuter she gets all the time!

Me too, she is such a darling! We love Tessa! Thanks for sharing Tacori, you are so wonderful sweetie!

Tacori,

It is sooooo exciting when you first hear their voice. Their own special little voice. I really look forward to your post when that day comes.

Monnie, Thanks china twin! Though I haven''t used mine in a long time. I have fun changing my AV. Have you seen your niece yet? How is your new job going?

Skippy, thanks! I promise to put pro pics in here IF and WHEN we ever get them done.

Linda, me too! I guessing it will be awhile. She says "Dada" and "Nana" but doesn''t KNOW what she is saying KWIM? It is just babble right now.

Haha! I thought of you last night when I was watching The Girls Next Door! That show amazes me. I don''t see how they can be so *not modest*
41.gif
And don''t worry about your next baby being a terror. All three of mine were pretty easy babies. I mean, it''s never easy, but, they certainly didn''t cry alllll day long like you hear of some poor babies doing.

Miranda, I can''t help but wonder what goes on in private at THE MANSION! I don''t watch that show regular but have seen enough episodes. I wonder how many jealous cat fights they get in.

So I am taking T to get her photo taken at one of those portrait places "aka baby mills." I thought I was SOOOO smart making the appointment for 1 pm (she wakes up from her morning nap between 11-12) well wouldn''t you know it she JUST went down for her morning nap at 11
20.gif
It was like she KNEW something was planned. I just hope she isn''t too crabby. Oh well! At least it is a cheap place if they do come out badly.

I put some pro pics of her in the preggo thread if anyone is interested!
2.gif

Tacori~ BEAUTIFUL photos! Tessa is so darned cute!!

Speaking of hearing the "voice", it''s even more fun when they discover they can CHANGE their voice!! You get squeaks and really low grunts, so much fun!

For some reason I can''t edit my last post. BUT...

In the other thread you asked about which pics you should frame. I would frame whichever one shows HER personality the most and then the b&w flower pic (cause it''s the classic, girly, amazement pic)

ss, thanks for your vote! I felt so overwhelmed when I was choosing the poses. I want to do a bunch of photographs going up our stairs (wedding pics, baby pics, family pics).

I bet it is cute when they know they can change their voices. I can''t wait!!!

Tacori, I love the idea of a PS book club! That would be so much fun!
36.gif

And I know this is just echoing everybody else, but Tessa is just gorgeous. I too love watching the change of your avatar pictures to see how she is growing--she just keeps getting more and more beautiful!
1.gif

Ahhhhh, so many beautiful pics. I love the flower one, sooo sweet!
12.gif

gwen, how do we start that? I guess someone can post a book they want to read and see if someone else also wants to read it. Thanks so much for the compliments on Tessa. She is starting to look less baby and more toddler. She is growing up so fast!
39.gif
I just started a Meg Cabot book. Forgot the title but I can go look. Interested???

Skippy, thanks! SIL loves the flower shot too. Her expression is so funny. Like "what the heck IS this?"

I just want to ditto everyone and say how adorable Tessa is! Also, I wonder if we could get a sticky thread up in Hangout for the PS book club? That''d be fun, although I think I''ll have to wait to participate until after our move at the end of this month.

LP, I think the best way to do a book club is have someone say....I want to read XXXX anyone else interested? B/c there is NO WAY you will get everyone to agree.

Tacori, how was your DH''s 30th? I bet you all had a wonderful time. Did Tessa make him something for Father''s Day? hehe Happy Birthday to you too, soon!!!
