Who has a Parrot?

We just got a baby Senegal Parrot.
Not sure of the gender so we'll call it a she.
I have had bird all my life and this one is the smartest and most playful ever.
She likes to lay on her back and nibble on her toes.
So cute.

We got her from a local family, who has a breeding pair.
They took over the hand feeding and since there were only two chicks in the clutch they got plenty of handling so she is very very tame and sweet.

I think her name will be Puppy.

I have an Indian Ringneck. If you look at Beacon''s avatar picture, that is what my Taco looks like too.

You will have fun training Puppy to talk. Being a baby, she will learn quickly.

I don''t have one either, but have always wanted one for my dad - I think he would adore it.

Puppy is SUCH a cutie! I wish we could post video, I would love to see the toe nibbling.

My brother once had a grey parrot - hated me, probably because i went over to his house to cook for him one time and I was cutting up chicking leg quarters in front of it

, that reminds me.

A guy once had a parrot named Polly with a filthy mouth.

When Polly would say #%& he'd scold it.

That didn't work so he'd put Polly back into her cage.

That didn't work so he'd cover her cage.

That didn't work so he put Polly in the freezer for a minute.

When he took Polly out she said, "OH MAN! what the #%&! did that chicken say?"
