Who does Christmas Lights ? Show your Christmas Cheer!

Love all the photos! I can’t decide if I should put up a tree this year. We adopted a new kitty and his name is Pepper, but he’s really a Menace! He gets into everything and wreaks havoc in my house. We can’t even keep the wastebasket out in the bathrooms Bc he gets into them and knocks them over. Today I got home and found the watebasket toppled over into my bath tub and the bathroom curtain and rods in the tub as well. Everyday I am picking broken things off the floor. The other day he toppled over my cake stand!
I might just have to live vicariously thru you guys!

its hard to stay mad at a kitten - or any kitty for that matter

hmmmm
you have given me pause for thought though because last Christmas we didnt have the Fluffa Duffa and when she was a homelss hungry stray outside in the garden she climbed trees really well

Everyone has such beautiful decorations!

@MamaBee, Please post pictures when you finish decorating.

@Calliecake..Haha I’m in Maryland now waiting for my husband to get his PCR test today. In the meantime I hurt my back lifting my four year old grandchild. I am really delayed getting my Christmas decorating in gear…I‘m getting back on Saturday..I’m hoping this darn back heals before then. I hope my husband doesn't surprise me by decorating the fancy tree. He’s an engineer so he puts all the little ornaments on the top and larger ones on the bottom. He did it once and it looked weird. If he did I’ll post the tree from last year! Haha

@Daisys and Diamonds Take a look at @missy ‘s tree. Her kitties love to hang out in it. Last year they demolished it. It took her husband a whole year to put it back together..

We used to have people come install our outdoor Christmas lights….going all the way up to our rooftop, but a couple years ago the installation person fell off our roof and had to be hospitalized. Scared us half to death, but luckily he was fine except for a couple hairline fractured and fully recovered….ever since that time, my dh and the have NOT hired Christmas light installers, we just hang lights out of our second story window, from the safety of my home office :)

i remember:lol-2::kiss2:
and Greg is a lot more tolerant than Gary :lol-2:
i think i just won't hang any breakable orniments on the tree
Wee Fluffa Duffa is an unknown, but Borris is more the one we have to accomidate as i usaully put a large nativity along the front of the telly
but that is her domain now and where she likes to be served her cat lollies (tempations)

hope you wake up to a fixed back

@ringbling17 , I can relate to the bathroom wastebasket. This is the first time in over 20 years ours have been on the floor instead of the counter....sorry about your cake stand. Hope it is something you can replace rather than a sentimental item. Hopefully your fur baby will settle in as he matures!

@elizat , @Lookinagain , I think we will fall into the minimalist category as well this year. Just don't have it in me for all the 'fuss'. I have a small artificial tree that sits nicely on a table that I'll get out, maybe a few other items--but that's about it here!

LOVE seeing everyones tree & decorations, so much creativity!

@MamaBee, Please, please don’t do anything thing to hurt your back. Your decorations are always so pretty, warm and inviting. It’s obvious a lot of work goes into your decorating. David isn’t the only one who enjoys and appreciates your creative works.

@jaysonsmom, This picture of the tree upside is hysterical. For some reason our small furbaby barked like crazy at the tree. At the end of the second day we realized she wasn’t going to be comfortable until it was down. We just gave up.

We don’t do outside light just inside but we did decorate the tree today! That star looks huge my in person it doesn’t look as awkward.
